The $18 Million Reena Campaign
At Reena, we believe that people with disabilities have a right to live in the community with dignity and respect.
For some, that means living a full and dignified life within a Reena residence with every opportunity to achieve their full potential with the full guidance of Reena professionals. For these individuals, we need to build a new residential model. For others, still living at home with their family, it means being provided with opportunities to develop life and social skills important to ensuring they take their rightful place in an accepting community. It also means providing respite to the family to ensure it remains healthy and intact. For these individuals we need to create an endowment fund to ensure our vital programs are secure for all time. This is why we are embarking upon the most important Campaign in Reena history - The $18 Million Reena Campaign - a Campaign that will raise $9 million to build a new 60 unit residence for people with special needs, on the new Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Jewish Community Campus in Vaughan.
That’s why we’re embarking on one of our most important projects ever: A residence for people with disabilities located in the heart of the Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Jewish Community Campus.
Reena's new home represents a transformational model of support and inclusion because it is predicated on the idea of full integration, where constant interaction between those with and without disabilities is not a novelty, but the way of life.
