Our sixteen year old daughter Rebecca has Prader Willi Syndrome, which results in her being highly dependent.  For many years she has been actively participating in Reena's weekend, bowling and camp programs.

 

These programs have been critical to helping Rebecca develop as well as adding to her quality of life.  The Reena staff have become part of Rebecca's social circle and are loving and caring friends.  They 'get' Rebecca and  love her for all she has to offer - the good, funny and sometimes challenging behaviours. They are extremely attentive to her needs and provide great fun and learning - and a bit of break for us.

 

We are participating in the 2011 Campaign for Respite to raise much needed funds for Reena's Outreach, Respite and Enrichment Programs. They provide Rebecca and so many other kids with a regular social circle and a safe, warm environment to interact and play. Please help make a difference. Together, with your support, we can bring a brighter future and a more accepting world to people with developmental disabilities.
